There may be some battles in our lives we live today;
In our race, we get weary along the way;
And sometimes we forget the One Who giveth strength
To run with patience and endure the length.

Yet around us there are evil snares, distractions we embrace;
With earthly things, our focus we replace;
If we turn our eyes from our Saviour’s face,
Destruction is the end of our ways.

Refocus on looking unto Jesus;
He will restore the joy unto us;
Laying aside every weight, every sin,
Casting our cares and fears upon Him.

In the race that is set before us,
For He alone is our Strength and Shield;
To Jesus Christ our Saviour, we must yield.

There may be some blessings in our lives we live today,
Maybe riches and the things we always pray;
But sometimes we forget the One Who have kept us blessed;
Yet we may have all those things but have no rest.
IV.
Then we seek for all the answers for our troubled, weary mind
In this world which makes us fully blind;
But in Jesus Christ, the answers we can always find;
Ye shall be satisfied and be refined.
